GS1 Germany, Deutsche Post DHL and METRO GROUP have founded the European market leader for Electronic Product Code (EPC) and Networked Information Systems (EPCIS) solutions and services in 2004.The EECC InnovationLab shows how to use state-of-the-art technologies and methods (Auto ID, EPCIS, Analytics, BlockChain, SmartContracts) to collect data from production to end customer behavior and be usable in the future.The Innovation Lab always stands for inspiring solutions and business ideas for industry, logistics and trade, because these are developed in house.
The trend-setting prototypes and demonstrations allow for a variety of customer with a focus on collaboration and interaction of different data sources.

Smart.NRW
Description
The aim of Smart.NRW is to use real-time RFID data based on collaborative planning and control mechanisms to self-regulate and optimize the supply chain. The partners of the project will use EPCIS real time data to network,investigate and optimize processes from logistics, marketting,sales and afte-rsales to call back.The economic use of radio frequency identification (RFID) as a data source at the packaging level in the consumer goods industry is being tested on field.
